On February 26, 2017, a 20 person brigade of ENT doctors, nurses, medical students, and an audiologist will travel from the United States to the rural city of Catacamas, Honduras.

Catacamas is located in the central part of Honduras in the department of Olancho. Hospital Santo Herman Pedro serves about 100,000 people in Catacamas and the surrounding communities. There is a severe shortage of specialty physicians in Olancho. The ENT brigade will work at the hospital for five days performing over 200 outpatient clinic evaluations and performing over 50 surgical procedures. Patients also receive audiological testing and fitting of hearing aids. Please consider donating to this brigade that is bringing ENT medical and surgical treatment to a community that otherwise will go untreated.

Last year for the first time the IMAF team not only provided medical care but also were joined by coaches from St. Louis Scott Gallagher Soccer Club who held soccer clinics and gave away donated soccer shoes and uniforms to Honduran kids. Our ENT brigade is again this year being joined by SLSG soccer coaches!
