Each summer for the past six years, the World Pediatric Project (WPP) has looked forward to celebrating its Rock ‘n’ Heal Event raising dollars for our mission to heal critically ill children and build healthcare capacity in the world.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the WPP has pivoted the format of the event to a virtual experience so we can continue to get social while practicing social distancing. We are excited to continue our tradition of “Rocking and Healing” through online experiences allowing for a month-long series of virtual activities starting in June!
Virtual Event Schedule:
June 15, 2020 – Kick off with Manny Cruz (TBD ??
Why WPP is so Important!
The world is changing, and global health is more important than ever. As we navigate this new and ever-changing world, we know one thing for certain - the children WPP serves need your help now more than ever. These children rely on WPP as their lifeline, and we rely on you for the support needed to reach them.
Your gift will have an immediate impact in the months to come in so many ways.
We have prioritized 19 children to travel to the United States for urgent and life-saving care this year.
Several medical teams will hold virtual diagnostic clinics in the coming months, and we’re scheduling teams to travel this fall as conditions allow so we can continue to reach as many children as possible.
We have 8 children in St. Louis receiving care. The children receiving treatment in the United States need weekly groceries, medications, lodging, and treatment through our partner hospitals
Special Gift for Donating
One of the elements of Rock n Heal was the sampling from a variety of local St. Louis restaurants.
We are excited to partner with MyCommunity and provide WPP donors with a virtual coupon booklet to various locally-owned restaurants and food vendors.
On behalf of the entire WPP family which includes our dedicated staff, compassionate medical volunteers, and the children who faithfully await our return, thank you for making a donation WPP!
We wish your families good health, and thank you for being steadfast champions of our mission.
We will adapt. We will be creative. We will heal.
